The Warrior is a class that citizens of Habitica can select when they reach level 10. However, all players begin the game as Warriors (but with limited abilities because mana for skills is not available until a class is chosen), so the play style doesn't change. Warriors deal high damage to tasks and have good defense against them as well.

Benefits Editar

  • Warriors have a much higher chance of dealing a critical hit. This allows them to reduce the redness of tasks much more quickly, which is useful for people who find it harder to keep up Habits or Dailies.
  • Warriors have a higher Strength attribute, which causes them to deal a higher amount of damage both normally and when dealing a critical hit. Since Warriors also have a higher chance of dealing critical hits, this allows for Warriors to reduce the redness of tasks much faster, and to increase the rewards earned dramatically.
  • When in a party, Warriors can buff (increase the attribute points of) the Strength and Constitution of their party members. Assisted by a Warrior's high damage and critical hit chance, parties will end up completing boss quests much faster.

In short, the Warrior is perhaps the easiest class to play, as its high Constitution aids in survival, while the high Strength prevents tasks from becoming too red. It's also the ideal class for those who don't want to spend much energy on the class system.

At level 10 you can choose to stay a Warrior by enabling the class system. You can also choose to allow HabitRPG to allocate attribute points automatically.. The game will then carry on as it was before classes were unlocked.

Description You hit a task with all of your might. It gets more blue/less red, and you deal extra damage to Bosses! (Based on: STR)
Maximize Effects To increase the effects, maximize your STR.
Critical Hit? To increase the chance of a critical hit and to increase the effects of the critical hit (i.e., to increase the effects of the skill if a critical hit occurs), increase your CON.
Notes Increases the value of a task (makes it more blue / less red) and does damage to a quest boss.
Calculation Damage to the boss without critical hits = ( 55 * STR / (STR + 70) ) rounded to the next integer.

The bigger the STR, the bigger the damage to the boss of a single cast without critical hits get closer to 55.

Examples With STR=20 the boss damage without critical hits is 13.

With STR=50 is 23.
With STR=90 is 31.
With STR=150 is 38.
With STR #(number of atoms in the universe) is 55.

Changes Now stronger for lower level players; about the same for higher level

Will damage a quest boss even if it is cast before a quest starts (but on the same day)

Calculation CON increase = Unbuffed CON * 40 /(Unbuffed CON + 200)
Examples For unbuffed CON=25, you will gain an additional 4

For unbuffed CON=125, you will gain an additional 15

Is not capped at 40, but diminishing returns will give a similar effect
Uses unbuffed stat to determine the strength of the skill

Valorous Presence

Description Your presence emboldens your party. Your whole party gains a buff to Strength! (Based on: Unbuffed STR)
Maximize Effects To increase the effects, maximize your STR with attribute points or gear (buffs to STR will not make this skill stronger).

Notes Increases the STR of every player in the party.
Calculation STR increase = Unbuffed STR * 20 / (Unbuffed STR + 200)
Examples For unbuffed STR=25, you and your party will gain an additional 2 STR

For unbuffed STR=125, you and your party will gain an additional 8 STR

Changes Now stronger for players at low levels, weaker for players with very high stats

Intimidating Gaze

Description Your gaze strikes fear into your enemies. Your whole party gains a buff to Constitution! (Based on: Unbuffed CON)
